Shafter Police announce a 500 dollar reward under the Secret Witness program for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person setting fires to metal and plastic trash containers near Tops Market on April 26. A 17 year old said he saw a man behind Tops but could not identify him. Police note possible link between two fires and a later model Chevrolet pickup seen near Tops. Citizens with tips are urged to call 746 4943 and may receive code names and rewards if an arrest follows.
