Shafter circus brings joy to community crowds
Kiwanis member and City Councilman Woody Colvard stresses the event remains free for kids as the Shafter community enjoys a long running circus with acts, pony rides, and family-friendly vendors. Volunteers are sought for a May Fly-In at Minter Field and Angel Food Ministries serves all, with no income limits. The Shafter Chamber hosts Street Fairs in June, July, and August, while mobile immunizations and local clubs offer activities for families.
