Money supports local activities. Richland district boosts support for local activity center
RLSD has increased its pledge to 454000 and the city adds 46000 to back a shared facility with Shafter Recreation and Parks District. A skeletal building could cost 550000 with county funds hoped at 50000 to 200000, plus freeing four classrooms. public hearings are set for May 10 and May 24 in Bakersfield and Shafter residents are urged to attend.
