The Valley Bible Church Hispanic Ministry hosts free community events on April 17 at Manuel Park with 2 pm mime, then 7 pm Spanish Jesus film. A public hearing April 20 at 7 pm in Shafter City Hall addresses city service fee changes. A Small Business Iun class series runs April 20 to May 12 at City Hall from 6 to 8 30 pm, $30. Health talk April 15 at 12 pm by Dr. Mallach Redding at W C Walker Senior Center. Pageant events April 16 17 at Shafter High School Auditorium feature Young Woman of the Year contestants. Rabies vaccination clinic April 21 1 30 to 2 30 pm at Kern County Fire Dept Central Valley Hwy, $4 per animal. Warbirds In Action set for April 24 25 at Minter Field with aircraft displays.
