Scientists study Holy Shroud image with heat theory

A team of American scientists led by Ray N. Rogers concludes the Shroud’s image could result from a brief visible light burst about 90 nanoseconds long. They note three dimensional features and pollen evidence linking the cloth to Jerusalem and Turkey, and say proof of Christ’s burial may remain elusive but the image can be discredited as not a painting or photograph.
