Louisville Driver Bound Over After Hit and Run
Harry Owens of Louisville pleaded guilty to hit and run driving in a Crothersville area case. Runaway Boys Returned to Homes in Louisville
Three boys under fifteen from Seymour attempted to hitchhike west Friday afternoon. Josas Harlow, Louisville chief of police, picked them up and began their trek back to Seymour for their families. The youths named Ernest Hawkins fifteen Ralph Rich fourteen and Charles Owen fourteen said they left Louisville early Friday and planned to reach Brownstown the grandmother’s home. The Louisville probation department was notified of the find.

Grading of U S Road 50 Nearing Completion
Fills on U S Road 50 from the Lawrence county line east in Jackson county must settle for several months before paving. State engineer R A Harrell said grading is practically completed. The stretch runs about three miles into Jackson county and the road will be turned over to the state highway commission for acceptance within a few days. Small bridge structures have been built and about 40 000 yards of dirt moved. Travel over this stretch may be possible during dry weather this summer.
