Notable wedding to take place at the Hardin home in the First ward at noon. Genevieve Mardin, daughter of Mr and Mrs Mardin, will wed Andrew Stevenson of Chicago, a railway official with C N W. C H Hollister dies at home in Minnesota on September 29 1905 after a two year diabetes illness. He was about 51? years old or 41 per obituary born July 25 1854 in Massachusetts. Survived by wife and three children in Eldora Iowa area with relatives Kate Fagg and Mrs Bonner. brother Thos Hollister formerly jeweler now in Waterloo. Family to relocate to Eldora to live near relatives.

The Schmidt Blydenburgh case from Hardin district court involving Carrie Schmidt of Brooklyn and E S Blydenburgh ended in a compromise after a venue move to Franklin County. The agreement calls for the defendant to pay one half of the note’s face value and for the plaintiff to cover costs.
The 1905 tomato season in Iowa dwarfs prior years with markets crowded by vast yields. Gardeners, grocers, and factories shift and ship surplus to Sayser and Heinz for pickling catsup and other uses. Hardin county reports smaller yields, tempering the statewide exuberance.

Eldora Junction residents L. A. Miller and son Vergil attended the Iowa Falls carnival on Wednesday. Attendees at the Ames harvest jubilee included A. Wentworth, Miss Minnie Wentworth, Carl Barnard, and many Miller family members. Mrs. Geo Vigars remains quite ill but shows improvement. Mr. and Mrs. C. T. Calater and son Robert visited the A. Wentworth home Sunday.
