Hardin County Business Men Banquet Enjoys Profitful Gathering
The Hardin County business men association met at Eldora with attendees from Alden Iowa Falls Steamboat Rock and Hubbard among others though Union and Ackley were not represented. The banquet featured a fine eight course meal at Wilson’s Hotel Eldora and an engaging after dinner program with toastmaster Peter F. Brown and speakers J F Hardin C McKeen Duren W J Moir and C E Albrook. Officers for the next year were elected: W N Snodgress president Raymond Blackmun vice president P M Rich secretary and F J Whinery treasurer.
