Russian Revolution Spreads from Petrograd to Moscow

Telegrams report Sunday bloodshed as workers in St. Petersburg led by Father Gopon demanded an eight hour day and higher wages. Troops and Cossacks fired on protesters near the winter palace, killing and injuring many including women and children. Nicholas II is said to be near collapse as the strike spreads to Moscow with gas and electric plants idle.

Resolutions of Respect for Johnny Williams

At a regular meeting of E C Buckher Post No 154 G A B held December 21 1904 resolutions of respect for the memory of Johnny Williams late of Company 32d Howitzers Vol Toft were adopted unanimously. The post tendered condolences to his widow and family and ordered a copy of the resolution presented to them and a copy to be spread in the papers.
