Miss Genevieve Speers entered the high school last Wednesday. A goodly number of students attended the lecture by Rev. Geo. L. Monutt Monday evening. The semester examinations will be held the latter part of this week. Those who have fulfilled certain requirements will be excused. Sarah Elizabeth Polley known as Noyer, born January 17 1801 in Monc county Illinois, died January 12 1905 after a long illness. She married Charles Polley on March 24 180, leaving twelve children and a large family. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church with Rev Geo Shoemaker officiating and burial in Our cemetery. The family thanks friends for kindness during illness and burial.
