In Morgan county, Versailles Beautiful Versailles is highlighted as a county seat with many residents owning homes and a low presence of shiftlessness. Spiritual leaders Rev M Watts and Payton are praised for uplifting services. Brother Payton is described as kind hearted and punctual with concise sermons. Pittschapel buys a new lot with $1000 in cash for a new church and trustees plan a rally for $400 or $500 on the fifth Sunday.
