Readers were offered a dandruff reducing shampoo for 30 cents from R Ferguson in Sedalia Missouri. The article notes teachers were inspired by lectures from Pettis County Public Schools leaders Prof Lucketts Prof Gass and H G Phillups on the race problem and education, with Prof H L Billups providing a strong counterpoint on progress and potential of a free society.

Notes From Lincoln High Teachers Institute

The second week of the teachers Institute at Lincoln High School began Monday June 10 with twenty five enrolled. Dr J M Harris lectured on Physiology and nervous system, and the institute closed Friday June 14 after two weeks of sessions led by Prof Hubbard, Prof Billups and Houston.
