Grand Master Pettigrew Reports Growth in Organizations
In a Wednesday joint session Grand Master Pettigrew cites 35 new organizations perfected during the year. The Mo. Jurisdiction shows 5400 adult and 100 juvenile members with endowment funds rising from 100 to 5500. There were 56 deaths with four claims held up for improper papers. collections total 314,000 and expenses 11,000, leaving a surplus over 7,000.

Col ored Fair Opens in Trigginsville with Busy Day Events
The Lafayette County Colored Fair opened in Trigginsville Missouri marking a promising start for Lafayette County with crops vegetables fruit fowls and needlework on display. The Lexington concert band provided music through three days as races at the fair drew crowds including a 2 38 trot won by Lou Alligan and a 1 05 pacing by Maud Taylor.
