Prof. C A Biggets, a former student of Geo KR at Smith College now in Muskogee, writes to the Editor praising the publication. He says the Conservator is an eye to the Territory, and repeats the sentiment of many friends about the paper’s value.

Ras Hopkins and W W Morgan are among many Negro Republicans with influence in the area. Louis Hoffman vows a square deal as Circuit Judge. Hill Jackson backs the Republican ticket as the real staff. The piece notes cross party appeals for the Negro vote and hints at double dealing during the campaign. Ben Jenkins touted as the star campaigner of Pettis County.
FY Denning, trying to board a Missouri Pacific train, was struck and his left foot crushed by moving wheels. The injury required amputation. Dr J M Harris carried out the operation with noted success.
Taylor's Chapel led by Nev R Davis reports a Sunday rally that raised 24071 for a new lot and signals a Greater Taylor's Chapel ahead. Sedalia Methodism plans revival and a bold forward movement with a lot purchase from Catholics on the North side for 1000. Trustees praise the effort as a banner year in Taylor's Chapel history.
Sedalia District of the Central Missouri Conference will convene at Versailles August 24 to 28. Pastors are urged to present and encourage each member to attend with written reports. Each charge and circuit should send one or two Epworth League delegates to revive league work in the Sedalia district, W. H. Smith, Pok.

Miss Brown of Kansas, visiting here, has gone home. Prof H F Thompson was in town last week. At the home of the bride Mr Harden Lindsey and Mrs Annie Lindsey united in marriage on Thursday evening August 11. May happiness and peace attend their pathway thru life. They will reside here in the Miss Birdie Johnson mol KyNnas.
The city is hosting visitors this week as Mr Berry and his wife spent Sunday with local residents. Huston and English, publishers of this paper, grant Mr Arte Harris authority to take subscriptions at one dollar per year or sixty cents for six months in advance.
Mr Win Carter adlininger guest of his peace Mratenote Van Buren and George White of Kansas City visit the Millk home. Miss Maggie Brown to represent Home Missionary Society at St Johns Temple Gilliam Aug 15 to 21. Carpenters to complete church remodeling by the 20th. the church will rank with county churches.
The 34th annual Grand Session began Tuesday morning with the Grand Lodge called to order at 10:15 AM. Officers and national grand officers attended, including Grand Master S. Pettigrew and Rev. ML Clay. A church dedication followed by a Grand Temple choir, introductions of new Princesses, committee reports, and adjournment.
Mrs M L Craddock of Kansas City formerly Marshall departed for Colorado Springs Colorado where she will reside.

Banks in Kansas report deposits totaling 3110.00 000 with no debased Democratic dollar in circulation. The Democratic platform adopted at St Louis supports a Bryan dollar and cannot be altered by telegram.

While waiting between trains in Clinton the editor toured the city visiting the homes of Reverends Gibson and Jackson Professor A W Freeman and Miss Nevada Dunning. Hospitable welcome awaited at each stop. A large gathering of citizens met at the M I Church at 8 30 P M. Clinton shows little loafing and promises a fuller pen picture later.
