Funeral services at the Milburn house in Buffalo marked by solemn simplicity for President McKinley. The naval and military detachments and Cabinet members viewed the remains, Mrs. McKinley endured the farewell, and the procession moved to the Buffalo city hall for public viewing by about 90,000 people.
Secretary Cortelyou issued the public notice detailing the funeral procession for President McKinley. Remains lie in state at Buffalo city hall, then depart by special train to Washington September 16, rest at the executive mansion, then to the Capitol for state, and on to Canton Ohio for final burial. Mrs McKinley’s health is described as fair and she is not incapacitated by the events.

Parsons Kansas September 15 The Missouri Kansas and Texas Railway company has started work on a new record building in Parsons and will begin construction of new car shops after the building is completed. The road plans further development following the shop completion.
Jno. Baker was appointed administrator of the estate of Elizabeth Baker, deceased, on Saturday.

Milton Homan of the area east of Smithton exhibited a monster rattlesnake in Sedalia this morning. He killed the snake recently on the Pomme de la Terre. The creature measured five feet in length and had eleven rattles.
