A Berlin bulletin reports Kaiser Wilhelm II recovering well after yesterday’s removal of a polypus from his larynx. Inflammatory reaction is subsiding and the small wound should heal in about eight days. The emperor’s general condition, temperature, and pulse are normal.

Wendell Dey a well known gardener aged 53 died at 6 40 Sunday evening at his home 500 West Henry street from bowel obstruction. Born in Germany he came to the U S thirty years ago living first at Hermann Mo later moving to this city fourteen years ago He is survived by his wife and children Mrs Mary Roe Mrs Bertha Simon Joseph Rosie Katy Ambrose and Magnus Funeral at Sacred Heart church Tuesday morning at 9 conducted by Rev Fr Daniel.

The 3 year old child of Conductor and Mrs Walter Ferrier living at Ninth and Lamine streets caused much excitement Sunday afternoon. After a several hour search and police alert the child was found on the second floor of the Ferrier home playing with blocks, ignoring the panic caused by the disappearance.
