The body of Conductor M. B. Roberts was reported to have died yesterday in the Missouri Pacific Hospital at Kansas City. He was known for his years of service and was associated with the railroad work in the region. Further details on funeral arrangements were not immediately available.

Benjamin Franklin Davis was arrested by Officer Jackson during the noon hour today on charges of intoxication and vagrancy and jailed in the calaboose.
