H B Boice of Kansas City bought Beaty Brothers cattle brands J B and J O along with ranches, land, and pastures spanning 35 miles along the Dry Cimarron to the Colorado line. About 12 000 head of cattle and 18 000 acres of patented land changed hands in a deal valued around 350 000 dollars. The J B and J O brands were founded by Beaty Brothers over 30 years ago, marking a record sale for the region.

Deputy U S marshals arrest 67 for the Seminole killings conspiracy. About 20 mob ringleaders remain at large near Maude Oklahoma. Palmer Sampson and Lincoln McGessy are claimed innocent of the crime. Sampson was 35 miles away. Washington, the accused, admits lying to escape mob torture and was hanged repeatedly.
Annie Kelley of Sedalia Missouri testifies she suffered constipation for ten years and general system breakdown. She reports improved hearing better sleep and overall health after treatment by Prof Cantlon praising his efficacy and character.
Mrs. Sam Spiess of Knob Noster Warrensburg barely escaped death last Friday when a sulphur spark from a lamp fell on a towel in her lap. The towel ignited the dress front but she extinguished the flames before serious injury occurred.
President Nicholas Young of the National Baseball League ruled that former Sedalia player George Gilpatrick should receive one half of the $200 paid by the St Louis Browns after drafting him from the disbanded Texas league club. The decision redistributes the proceeds to Gilpatrick from the disputed draft money.
