A Times dispatch from St Petersburg notes three Japanese columns advancing along the coast toward Possiet bay near Vladivostok with transports sailing from Gensan. Other reports say General Linevitch says the Japanese withdrew southward then resumed positions as Russians flooded harbors and attempted to quell mutinous sailors aboard the Orel.
State B Y P A session this morning elected new officers and state representatives. The results list individuals filling leadership posts and regional seats within the organization.
R C Stanley reelected as president. J B Nordyke of Kansas City elected president for the coming year as the Missouri Baptist Young People's Union completes its fourteenth annual convention at First Baptist Sedalia. Attendance rises to about 500 with reports showing 278 societies and 6191 Senior, 1019 Junior members.
The president dismissed Bo Wen from government service following a formal review of a controversy involving Loomis. The action ends the official’s tenure and closes the inquiry with the administration asserting the findings justify removal.

Mrs Malinda Ilgenfritz died Monday morning at her home in the Ilgenfritz building. Rev J B Fuller conducted the 10 am service at the residence with many relatives and friends attending. Interment followed at the city cemetery.

Mrs Rose Cundiff died Tuesday morning. Her funeral was held at 4 o clock at the family residence Seventh and Lamine streets with Rev Richard Gentry leading the service. Floral offerings surrounded the casket before interment in the city cemetery.
Sedalia lodge of Elks invites members to a trolley ride Friday night. Members meet at 7 30 at the Elks club rooms, board special cars for a city tour, then go to Forest Park for a social evening. Each member may invite one friend.
