Cyrus Couge a 12 year old newspaper carrier took a bicycle owned by H Allen White left at 312 East Second Street. Police arrested him around 8 am and in police court he said he would return the wheel after finishing his route. He was released after a warning from Judge Truxel.
Edgar F. Allen a Missouri Pacific car inspector in the east yards was struck by a switch car No 536 at about 11 am near Engineer street crossing. He suffered scalp wounds a fractured collar bone and other bruises but is not believed to be in danger. He resides at 650 East Fifteenth street and was taken to M K T hospital for treatment.
