Brakeman B O Wood of the M K T was killed near McBaine Missouri about noon today when caught between two freight cars during switching. He rode local freight no 64 from Sedalia, resided on East Fifth Street, single, about 26, with conductor Downs and engineer Dandy.
Reports indicate the Pontiff's health is worsened by newly discovered signs of blood poisoning. Medical officials monitor the condition as concerns rise over potential complications for the papacy.
