Grace Sullivan Dies in Carbolic Acid Suicide at Fort Smith
Grace Sullivan 19, daughter of J A Sullivan president of the First National Bank at Sullivan I T, killed herself at home with carbolic acid after attending Baptist services with a male escort who was with her during the evening. The couple had been reprimanded at church for whispering and rumors of warrants influenced her. She died within thirty minutes.
