He and his wife Virginia Teasdale leave daughter Mabel. Funeral at First Baptist Church.

Big Coal Strike Claims Finest Cannel Bed in World
A major coal strike on land owned by ex Governor St. John in Morgan county uncovers 72 feet near the Stover bank 35 feet of cannel coal nearby and 50 feet by the Holden bank with another deposit southwest of the Simpson bank. The finds form the largest bed of cannel coal claimed in the world.

A serious mine accident at Ray mond in Cole Camp Missouri occurred about 8:30 Friday morning. Ground men Robert Eldridge and another worker descended the shaft and signaled hoist. Hoistersman Lige Davis raised the tub as the men prepared to exit the shaft.
Verdant youth arrested after attempted $90 theft in Long Wood
Walter Patterson, 18, was traced within hours after stealing $90 from his uncle Henry Patterson in Longwood. He fled to Sedalia then Louisville by train, was intercepted in St Louis by Detectives Flynn and Howard, and found with $69 and a railroad ticket. He could not explain the arrest.
