Jacek Stuart a farm hand six miles southeast of Knob Noster fled to Sedalia after stealing $45 from Jim Johnson and a horse from Frank Shoup. He boarded the midnight train to Sedalia pursued by state officers and a woman described as a Secalian. Warrant issued. Sedalia police as of 3 p m had not located him.
Messrs Yeager and Stephenson of the Alamo barber shop finished improvements to make their shop the nearest most artistic and convenient west of St. Louis. New linoleum and three hydraulic leather chairs on pedestal bases complete the update. Bowlin, linked to Captain Stevens' horse theft case, is jailed at Lebanon for stealing a team at Higbee and will identify the prisoner in Lebanon.

Sam T. Smith and Miss Rhoda Watson were married at the bride’s mother Mrs John Watson’s home near Billingsville on Tuesday afternoon at 3 oclock. Rev Chas Burns officiated. After the ceremony the couple drove to John E Smith’s residence in this city for a reception with many friends.
