Captain Blackburn of Houstonia Pettis county claims General Lane's North Carolina brigade fired the fatal volley that killed Stonewall Jackson at Chancellorsville on May 3 1863. He disputes Penders brigade blame and recalls finding Jacksons gloves the next morning near the battlefield in a wartime interview.
The Church of the Sacred Heart hosted a solemn ceremony yesterday afternoon at 4:30 performed by Rev. Fr Prendergast in the presence of the family relatives and a few friends.
