New Town Celebrates First Anniversary in Southeast Seattle
A year after opening 150 acres the city now hosts about 1000 residents. Three thousand attended a barbecue dinner with the Columbia City band providing music. In the free lot contest the winner was Jeaae Markow of 396 7 Twelfth avenue south, a father of 10 children.
