Addison Hartle a 25 year old amateur aviator was killed instantly when his home made Curtiss biplane crashed at Dominguez field Los Angeles. He had circled the field rising to about 200 feet before tipping and diving to the ground, his wrecked machine and body fatally injured. Hartle had not yet qualified for a pilot license but had made several flights.
