25 Percent Drop in Food Costs Predicted by Figg

Washington December 22 192? Food Administrator Figg predicts a 25 percent reduction in the cost of living by June 1 after meetings with business leaders. He says the upward price trend has halted and cooperation from industry will help lower prices. Costs of government push taxes up faster than living costs

Washington notes that while the cost of living has risen, government costs have increased more sharply.
