Mystery death by own action in Kirksend woods

A man was found dead in the woods near Kirkisend to Redmond last evening with a pistol at his right hand and a gaping wound in his head. The corpse lay about 18 feet from the county road. authorities report unknowns and a possible suicide case.

Police Arrest Man and Wife in North Seattle Robberies

Seattle police captured a man who called himself Anderson and a woman in an apartment on North Beacon Street after a dramatic pursuit by Detective Barbee. Barbee, aided by Detectives Tennant and others, exchanged gunfire with the suspect who had attacked him and aided by a woman accomplice, robbing Hee and Decar Jens in North Seattle. Ackman of the couch treasurer’s office was wounded by a stray bullet but survived, as investigators linked the duo to recent highwayman robberies.
