The Western Central Labor Union organizes a larger carnival with Southern Carnival Company to raise funds for a new Seattle Labor Temple. The event, starting August 2, features stunts by Diavolo and Achille Philion, with 25 carnival cars and an expected $45,000 total from two carnivals and site sale. The plan follows the recent Seattle Brewing and Malting Company boycott end and Clerks Union realignments, amid internal disputes over delegates and affiliations.
