Inquest Opens Over Millie Omley Death After Cable Car Collision
Coroner Hoyet held an inquest this afternoon into the death of Millie Annie Omley killed in a Thursday night collision between a cable car and a wagon. Witnesses testified the wagon could not back away as a hose wagon neared and was coming directly toward them. Alfred Bwedin, a mill hand, died at Port Blakeley mill after being crushed under a log on a cutting table. he was nine years old and had a brother living in Port Blakeley.
