A can of sterile gauze is placed in every home and business. The Junior Rangers led by Captain Lois Fish collect metal and rubber for salvage with ribbons for fifty pounds of scrap and stars for every extra twenty five pounds.

Honor Four Women In Air Warning Service At Seal Beach
Four Seal Beach women received Army Air Corps recognition for their Air Warning Service. Assistant Chief Observers Helen Morrison Del Kimball Donna Carpenter and Dora Jones were awarded sterling silver pins with a blue enamel plane insignia and blue armbands.
