Registration Board Ready For 4 A Day This Weekend
Preparations are complete for Fourth Registration Day when men ages 45 to 65 will register. In Seal Beach the process runs from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday Sunday and Monday April 25 26 and 27. Mrs Fronia Robinson chief registrar heads a competent board with volunteers for efficient registration. New volunteers include Miss Alice Dodge Mrs Thelma Upham Miss Stella Thompson Mrs Martha Nuckols Mrs Ruth Butler Mrs Sara Markham and Fred Finch. Regulars returning are Mrs Velva Witten Mrs Stella Smith James Zoeter Mrs Margaret Snell Mrs Minnie Snider Miss Eleanora Markham Mrs Flo Newton Mrs Evelyn Prentice J Jolley Jones and Fred Lusk. Fred Smith and Al Corriveau may fill in. Mrs Burma Bourne is typist with assistants Jean Yokem Dorothy McEachran Lucile Smith Charlotte Corriveau and Mary Zoeter. New First Aid Club Plans Fund Raising Drive
The First Aid Club met at the Community M. E. church on Thursday April 16 with 25 attendees. Miss Stella Thompson received a war stamps gift for teaching, and Dr. Homer De Sadeleer endorsed a planned fund drive for equipment through local first aid stations.
