Miss Minnie Weber aged 22 collapsed at Zimmermann's hall during the New Brunswick Turn Verein and Singing Society ball. She fainted and died before medical aid arrived. heart disease is believed to be the cause. The sudden death ended the dance event.
In Tyrnau a detachment of Hussars trying to restore order was stoned by rioters and one trooper was killed. The Hussars then charged with drawn swords as several rioters were wounded. Troops have been sent to disturbed districts across Hungary.
Lillian Russell a 20 year old Dunaville New York inmate of a Erie house of ill fame took morphine at a refreshment table in the Emvinestone House and died in hospital early today. Jealousy and a quarrel with another inmate are cited as the cause.
