Lady of the Red Admirals Tale at a Welsh House
A wandering narrator visits the decayed Van der Knoope residence near Skirrid and meets Wilhelmina and her two elderly uncles, Melchior and the blind Admiral, revealing a family tied to Fritz van der Knoope, a missing naval officer, and a plan for his marriage to Mina as the house shelters two generations of seafaring history.
