Names of the dead and injured include John Casselman and several workers from Danville. The exact cause could not be determined tonight.
George Du Maurier, artist and author of Trilby, died today after a long heart disease battle. He had shown signs of weakness yesterday and passed away surrounded by friends as tributes recalled his work and the novel’s stage success.
