Pocono Spring Water Ice Plant Sold to American Trust

The Pocono Spring Water Ice company of Naami Pines, Monroe County, shot to the American Ice trust after years of attention from the trust. The plant controls 600 acres of water and ships about 2,000 cars of ice from Lake Naomi to New York City this season, totaling roughly 200,000 tons. The leaseholders will harvest more as facilities permit. The deal follows a long pursuit by the trust and promises dividends from royalty and rental to stockholders.
