Household Hints for Leftover Pastry and Bread Care

Don’t waste pastry scraps. Roll very thin, brush with butter, sugar, orange rind and coconut, cut into shapes, bake. Bread keeps softer in a box or drawer at room temperature but molds faster than in a refrigerator. If using a box, keep it clean and well ventilated.
