Ken McDonald resigned today as public works director citing health reasons and city duties. City manager Ken Williams said the resignation is effective immediately and interim public works field activities will be run by Assistant City Manager Tom Cochran. McDonald will return to the role of city engineer and focus on improvement districts and sanitation planning.
