Wayne Wayland is named general manager of the forthcoming Woolco Department Store at Curry and Scottsdale Roads opening in mid October. He has worked for F W Woolworth Co since 1937 and led Woolworths in Oakland for five and a half years and previously ran stores in Southern California and Oregon. R. Pynter, Tucson’s top officer since 1960, will move to the Saguaro Bank project in Tempe. Tostenrud belongs to the Arizona Country Club.
