A man and a woman employed by Czechoslovak airlines hijacked a domestic jetliner to Frankfurt airport and, after two hours with 24 passengers and three crew held hostage, surrendered to police. Frankfurt police chief Knut Mueller confirmed the incident.

A 57 868 dollar federal funded pilot will provide occupational and physical therapy to 82 severely handicapped students in Scottsdale. Staff includes therapists, aides and interns. Students from Loloma Hohokam Kaibab Yavapai and Cocopah will be bused or visited for individualized programs with parental consent and ongoing evaluation.
Phoenix detectives testified that Don Bolley believed informant Adamson worked for Emprise Corp or Funk Racing Circuit before the June 1976 bombing death of reporter Bolles. Defendants Dunlap and Robison face first degree murder charges. Adamson pleaded guilty to second degree murder. Witnesses described mafia cards and alleged connections with Emprise, Barry Goldwater, Steiger, and land fraud. Evidence included meeting notes and prior meetings with Dunlap and Aldridge.
