At a Scottsdale meeting of the Arizona Annual Welfare League the board approved a 500 reward for pet theft arrests, will tag registered animals, and discussed a new animal shelter and sanctuary. Merchants at Fashion Square invited a 10th anniversary booth. volunteers will staff October events and the Arizona State Fair. The league drew 300 inquiries and a local architect volunteered shelter plans. Board members include Amanda Blake and Patrick Shields. general counsel is Robert Owens.
