Household Hints for Cleaning and Easy Grips
The glass in picture frames can be cleared of smudge by wiping with a damp cloth sprinkled with baking soda. Rinse with a clean damp cloth. Wooden clothespins split in half make good scrapers for cleaning aluminum or enamelware. The wood doesn't scratch. A rubber band around a jammed jar lid provides a better grip to loosen it.
