Youth arrested in $5,000 Scottsdale robbery case
A 19 year old, Claude Dwinell, was arrested Tuesday morning at 119 North Old Scottsdale Road after an investigation by police. The suspect, held in Scottsdale City Jail, is due for arraignment today in Scottsdale Justice Court. The case involves Jose Valcarcel, robbed at 3219 North 67th Place, hit on the head and money stolen. Police continue to probe whether another man at the time was involved.

ASU coed found dead in Tempe home ruled self-inflicted
Judge James Mitchell ruled the death of 22 year old ASU coed at a friend's Tempe residence Saturday was from a self inflicted gunshot wound. The body was found around 6 p.m. at 8259 E Hubbell by Raymond Dellebra who said she had visited earlier in the day and remained at the home before leaving for work. A .22 caliber revolver was found near the body.
