State to sue Phoenix on annex act
The state attorney general announced at noon today he will sue the City of Phoenix to prove its right to serve an area it annexed recently in Aronio. Special assistant attorneys general Charles Duccy and Kelly Turner will file the suit this week in superior court, said Attorney General Robert Pickrell.

The Salt River Project filed a third federal suit in Phoenix against General Electric Allis Chalmers and Westinghouse Electric alleging a conspiracy to fix prices and curb competition.
