Democratic Forum Plans Talk by Black Muslims Speaker
Tentative arrangements were made today for a representative of the Black Muslims to speak at the Arizona Democratic Party Forum April 19 in the Clayton-Coronado Eldorado Park community building. Scottsdale City Council approval is needed to use the building before final plans. Some Democrats oppose Bernard Cushmeer’s appearance representing Elijah Muhammad. Cushmeer's earlier bowling alley event was canceled amid owner policy objections and party pressure.
