Heat Relief By River Float On Salt River
In Phoenix area lore, about 30 Scottsdale Jaycees and companions rode inner tubes and rafts down the Salt River two hours after noon. The 112 degree heat eased along the bank full flow while George Adams photographed the outing. Chairman Hamilton lit a mesquite grill at Sheep Bridge end.
