No plans for SCC stadium at Scottsdale Community College
Executive Dean Marion Donaldson told the Scottsdale Women's Club there are no plans to build a football stadium at SCC. The field will be used for intramural sports and recreational activities, with football used perhaps less than 10 percent of the time. He said athletics faced opposition claims but that student funds come from registration fees and are allocated by the governing board. The dean praised SCC’s breadth of courses, library funding, and the college’s fifth semester of existence.
