Mexico Exports Hit 1.5 Million Daily Oil Value
Mexico now ships about 1.5 million dollars of oil daily to the United States and other countries. Shipments average 121,000 barrels drawn from Pemex surplus after meeting domestic needs. The bulk of production comes from Tabasco and Chiapas fields developed since 1972.
