Radiation Blamed For Miners Cancer
Public Health Service reported that radiation caused a high rate of fatal lung cancer among uranium miners in seven western states. A two year Arizona Colorado New Mexico Montana South Dakota Wyoming Utah study found 11 deaths among 768 underground miners with five years or more work, about ten times the normal rate.
